I Dreamt Justine Was Just On Vacation

I’m a little rattled today because my dream last night was so vivid. I dreamt that we got word that Justine had not died in the car accident. She was alive and well in another country. We went to pick her up and all her friends and family came too. We rented a big hall for the occasion and had a huge party. When I woke up in the middle of the night I had to convince myself that it was just a dream. Then I lay awake for awhile.

When I went back to sleep she was alive again. She was an adult and her sister was a baby. Her sister has a baby so that part seems logical. We took Justine shopping because she had moved into a new apartment. I even remember the items in her shopping cart. She had two cans of tomato juice and an industrial sized container of “Cheez Whiz”. Justine was a vegetarian so even those items fit, although I really don’t think she ate processed cheese products. I asked her if she would be able to eat all that. I told her it might go moldy. She assured me she would eat it before that happened.

Now I’m back to convincing myself it was all a dream. It was so nice to see her again.

  1. Wow. I can’t imagine quite what it feels like waking up from such vivid dreams as that of someone you love so much. I firmly believe she is watching you and loving you too and it’s just my way of seeing it but it is a bit like we’re in a different “country” for a little while until we are eventually all together in the eternal joy of heaven. It’s a beautiful photo of the two of you. Your happiness and love for each other shines out xx
