I have strawberry blonde hair. It’s always been controversial because I identify as a red head, yet people argue that my hair isn’t red. I come from a long line of gingers on both sides of my family so I was not alone. I am the only red-head I’m my immediate family and neither of my children inherited the gene.
My three and half year old grandson, Oliver has red hair. He gets lots of positive attention because of his hair. My one month old, grandson, Elliott is most likely going to be a ginger too. My daughter, Candice wanted a red headed boy. Now she has two!
You are most definitely a redhead, dear Cathy, and, according to my husband, all readheads are beautiful. He means himself, but I mean you and your little grandsons!

Thank you. I didn’t know your husband was a red-head.

Strawberry blond, like you, and “was” is the operative word, as he is now mostly gray. I think he looks distinguished.

Looks like red hair to me. My Husb was strawberry blonde too and always called himself a ginger. He’s bald now.
