My interior layout for my book, Not My Story to Tell is ready. I almost cried when I saw the prompt. Then I almost cried when I read it. My edits were not there! I was sure I had accepted all the advice and saved it. I had looked it over several times and was confident it was exactly how I wanted it. When I saw my deleted chapters and original text in the layout I was horrified. How could this happen?
I spent some time reviewing and I do think it was my error. I’ve found how to correct it and will be spending this weekend doing that. The good news is that the interior layout process only took a week so I know I will have lots of time. It will cost me $100 to fix this but I know I want it to be perfect so that’s not an issue.
Hang in there! The frustrations of a writer!

Mistakes happen. A year from now, this will be of little consequence.

Exactly what I told myself. I’ve come this far so a few more hours is nothing.

I saw a deleted chapter immediately and on closer inspection I realized the edits weren’t there
