I Found My Lost Site

For those following my saga of the lost WordPress site, I’m happy to announce I managed to find it. You can read more on that here and here. It kept saying there was no site with that name but yesterday I could access it through Google, although it’s still missing from my sites on WordPress. I was able to transfer the few missing chapters to a word document.

I had contacted WordPress and eventually I heard back from them. They asked me to take a screenshot of my sites to show it’s not there. I did that but now I have no idea where to answer. The question just popped up and I’ve looked all over WordPress and can’t find where the message is. I thought maybe it came in my email but haven’t found it there either. If anyone can offer advice I’d appreciate it.

Thanks again to everyone who offered sympathy and positive energy.

  1. Sounds like you’ve had a nightmare! I’m afraid I’m no help, I’m still struggling to find my way around WordPress myself. I hope you get it sorted soon.

      1. I am not a techie, but do you know how to synchronize data between your iPad and laptop? Then you can back it up from your laptop. Barring that, there must be a way to back up data on mobile devices as well. At the very least, you can save it to the cloud, such as Google OneDrive which is also free.

      2. I’ve never synchronized data from iPad to laptop but I’m going to try this week. I’ve transferred some of my book from WordPress to my iPad Word app. I’m hoping I can then synchronize it to Word on my computer.
