I loved P.E.I, when I visited in 1973. The entire island offers a lovely combination of beach and forest, and I found the people most gracious and down-to-earth.

It hasn’t changed much since 1973, except maybe on the outskirts of the cities where they now have a few outlet malls.

Maine is very close to PEI. We had to drive around it so we didn’t cross the border twice.
