I’m looking after my grandson, Oliver this week while his day care provider is on vacation. Today we walked down to the park beside the lake. Oliver likes to “ride” his bike. It’s the kind of bike that he sits in and an adult pushes it, like a stroller. I do enjoy the walk through their village to the other side of town where we enjoy a shady stroll beside the cool water. We throw stones in the water, visit the bandstand and watch the geese. Today we saw a bird’s nest way at the top of the bandstand with a momma bird sitting in it. I took some biscuits, berries and drinks and we sat at the picnic table and enjoyed the view.
