I took a day off yesterday to read. I’ve written before how I find reading and writing difficult to do simultaneously. You can read that post here. Reading is essential for writers and I’ve especially been reading memoirs so I can learn more about style and content. 

I read an entire book and most of another one. It was a marathon that I thoroughly enjoyed. Today I opened up my email to find short biographies of 55 of my high school classmates. Last weekend was my High School reunion. I missed it because my sister and I went to a show. You can read more about that here. Luckily, many people posted pictures of the fun occasion and submitted summaries of what they have been doing for the past 42 years. It was wonderful reading about the successes of my classmates.
