I’ve wanted to skate at Toronto City Hall Skating rink ever since they built the “new” city hall in 1965 when I was 8 years old. Here is a little history of the city hall. My daughter, Candice turned 30 on Boxing Day and I turn 60 in June so we decided to take a short vacation in the city of my birth. We are staying in a hotel across from Nathan Phillip’s Square so I took a few spins this morning.
My grandson, Oliver watched from our hotel room.
It’s really beautiful at night when it’s all lit up.
What a marvelous way to spend the days after Christmas! I visited Toronto once, in January, 1973. I hope to pass through there again, in summer of 2018, en route to Montreal and Quebec.
