I saw this wonderful quote by Pablo Neruda this morning.(I have since been informed that this was, in fact written by by a Brazilian writer, Martha Medeiros). Most of us squash our sense of adventure when we become “responsible” adults and have jobs, famililies and mortgages. I urge everyone to take this advice and do something out of the ordinary today, even if it is wearing a new colour or starting a new book.
Happy Monday!
I think it is true…

I’m afraid that I’ve run away from sensible advice far more than just once. Isn’t it fun!

I haven’t done it much. This is advice I need to take myself.

I’ve been given the sensible advice, to not be so busy. Of course, the underlying meaning is “You’re too busy to meet MY needs.” As the adviser is not my child, my parent or my attorney, I’ll stay busy.

Staying busy is fine but try something new on your journey.

What a lovely post! Except that the poem isn’t by Pablo Neruda at all. It’s written by a Brazilian writer, Martha Medeiros.

You’re so smart. Thanks for the clarification. I’ll change it (even though it’s wrong on the poster.
