Today is International Women’s Day. It is described as a day to
“Celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women.
Yet let’s also be aware progress has slowed in many places across the world, so urgent action is needed to accelerate gender parity.”
I read today that in 1905 female teachers won the right to the same wages as their male counterparts. Here it is 2016 and women in other fields are still struggling to earn the same wages as men.
Do you feel that you make a comparable wage to people of the opposite gender?
Nope! But if we have more ladies like your good self keep raising this question and pushing for true equality we are more lucky to get it. Happy W.I.D to you too 🙂

I think we actually made some strides in Canada. We’re going to have a woman’s picture on one of our currency bills.
