I do all my blogs on my iPad. WordPress has a really user friendly App that makes adding pictures and posting really easy. In fact I’ve written my entire book on my WordPress App. I write every single day here.
Today I started my blog and added a picture. It said “failed” so I tried and retried but it wouldn’t load. I refreshed my iPad. No change. I tried cropping it. No change. I tried to find a similar but smaller image thinking the size might be the problem. I couldn’t find one. Finally, I decided to give up temporarily.
Do you use WordPress App? Has this happened to you?

I use WordPress also. I have been hesitant to publish my whole book on here because I was afraid it would be stolen. Any opinions?

I had issues two days ago. Cathy, I uploaded photos but for some reason, they would’t “stick” to my post. It was awful and I was becoming aggitated because I have the premium program. I found out later that WP did some updating but failed to let anyone know. Anyway, I do have the app but never use it. I’m more comfortable using my desktop.
I’m wondering if your issue had more to do with WP’s upgrading.

This happens to me all the time. I also mostly use my phone. So, you are not alone.

I have had a on & off love/hate relationship with creating a post on my iPad. A very temperamental app with many ‘moods’ of the day!😝

I use the WordPress app on my IPad only for small tasks. I am surprised that you have had so much success with yours unless you have been doing mostly straight writing and little formatting– I find formatting on the iPad a headache and after a few months blogging I promised myself I would always write posts on a computer to avoid inevitable technical difficulties. I do use the iPad though and sometimes the ‘newer easier’ interface just goes crazy and I have to switch out by going into Administration where the old interface is. Good luck!

Hmmm. I don’t even know who you are talking about so I guess I just do write and post pictures. I don’t format or do anything techie.

I don’t regard myself as techie either. For me when using the iPad app, doing simple edits can be painful so I do this on a laptop.

I find it easy to edit but I just usually have to just change a word or something simple.

Same issue here! And for some reason I never see all images that should be in my media database anymore. I find I revert to the old dashboard more and more!
