Those of us who hang in Christian circles have sometimes heard reference to something called a life verse.  That is the verse in scripture which seems to resonate most with us in our lives.  Hopefully for most of us it is also one which gives us “life” and supports in our walk through this world.

My life verse is 1 John 4:18 (21st Century King James Version) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.  

This verse was a gift to me from God in a time in my life when I was very fearful.  Everything seemed to be falling apart and I had no idea what I should do.  This verse reminded me that I was loved by my creator even if it feels no one else does.  When I…
