My new followers can read a little back story here.
Justine’s first brush with fame came when she was in Grade 3. She was a high achiever in her early years. Justine was very confident and used a lot of expression when talking. When her class was given a public speaking assignment I knew it was something she would excel in.
I asked her what she would like to talk about and she immediately said she wanted to do her speech on the topic “Be Careful What You Wish For”. I was quite surprised that she chose such a mature topic but she and I wrote a speech and she practiced and practiced it using her expression. She won the Public speaking contest for her age group at her school and was entered in the contest at the local legion. She won that one too and went on to another legion where she placed 2nd. We knew then that she was destined to be in the limelight. She was a natural.
We have it on video and I wish I could include it here.

I used to be able to speak in public but not anymore. I guess I’ll have to do it to promote the book.

I’m not the public speaker…it was my daughter. I’ve written a book about her.
