How I hate the cold
My feet turn to ice
In winter I’m not bold
Indoors is where it’s nice
I shiver and shake
My lips turn blue
I cannot fake
Warm weather is due
I always wear a sweater
I always feel a chill
I always feel better
When winter’s had it’s fill
lovely

Thank you Lynn! (I finally realized that Lynz is really Lynn’s). I read all your memoirs. It’s quite a life you’ve lived!

Great poem! Getting us ready for the impending winter, eh? (That’s me trying to sound Canadian!)

Yes, I assumed he’s your husband, but didn’t want to presume until I was informed. You look like a settled couple. I LOVE happy marriages.
(I’ve been married to my husband for over two and a half decades, myself.)

Oh, the cold of winter is upon us. Down near where I live, there is freeze warning. A little to soon for that.
